About Me

Welcome, stranger - I’m Alban Istrefi, a Product Manager working at the intersection of AI, product, and the modern web.

By nature, I’m a tinkerer and a builder. I like turning ideas into real, working things and learning by doing - often by shipping early, breaking things, and iterating fast.

My work today revolves around AI-powered tools, agentic workflows, and modern web platforms, where the line between product thinking and building has started to blur. I spend a lot of time experimenting with new ways of working, exploring how AI is reshaping how we design, build, and ship software.

On this website, I share what I’m building, writing, and thinking about: from product strategy and AI experimentation to web development, tooling, and occasionally a bit of philosophy. Most of it comes from things I’m actively working on or learning along the way.

Outside of work, I’m a dad, I spend time with my family, and I’m usually accompanied by a small poodle who insists on being part of every walk and meeting break. Curiosity, balance, and building useful things tend to shape both my work and my life.
